The Day of Phantom
so today started out being the worst day like ever...
Gabe and I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to get ready to go into the city...as I was doing my normal morning activities aka feeding the cats, I noticed that only two of my three cats showed up  so i went in by my dad who was sleeping and was like wheres ashley? and he was like not here and i was like do u know where shed be and he was like shes not here and i was like ok, i get that, but where else could she be and hes like no, she started peeing in the house again so mom got rid of her  my parents took her to the vet cuz no shelter would take her so theyre only option was to take her to the vet to be put down but she was purring and rubbing against everyone and our vet just fell in love with her and hes taking her to this rehabilitation place to get treated and he took her...
so i was all emotionally destraught for a little while...at least Gabe was there to make it better and cheer me up  and at least she didnt have to be put down...i was still really sad tho...i still am
so anyway, back to the reason ive been looking forward to this day for so long...we start drivin towards Middletown and then all the roads are flooded, so we have to backtrack and because of my emotional meltdown this morning we were running a little late...so we had to do like a relay race to Dunkin Donuts and then up to the college...
so we make the bus and head towards the city...we get there and i wasnt feelin well from the morning, so im popping Advil like its candy and then Gabriel forced me to eat somethin at McDonalds cuz i didnt eat anything like all day...
then we found the theater that Phantom was gonna be in  we had extra time before the show, so we went to Toys R Us in Times Square! we were in there for like an hour and a half...it was just sooooo awesome and fun! cuz we're all Toys R Us kids...come on, you know it!
then we walked past where TRL is taped and people were protesting MTV *rolls eyes* they need something new to complain about...like the ozone layer or something...
then some guy started talking to us about tickets to go see a comedy show at the Improv...so Gabe bought tickets for 4, we can choose when we want to go and for 4 of us it was only $20 when its usually $40 for 2 people...so...AWESOME! woohoo...now we can pay Steve back for takin us to the Jets game in November
after the endeavor, we took a much needed trip to Starbucks for some chai tea lattes...mmmm...chai tea...i want hot chocolate...but anyway...mmmm...something else ive gotten the bf hooked on 
then we went and stood on line for PHANTOM!!  Gabe couldnt get over how crazy, drunkly giddy I was cuz i was just sooooo ecstatic, I can't even explain...Heather was like bouncing off the walls with me...which was great lol
sooooo...if you havent seen Phantom on Broadway...please do!!! you will die unhappy if you dont...your life will be meaningless...if I can get Gabriel hooked and wanting to burn my Phantom soundtrack so he can have his own copy...you know its worth seeing! do it! it was amazing
i am treated like such a princess by Gabriel, I really feel like its too good to be true sometimes...he doesnt even have to, but he just does the sweetest things and even tho i was so utterly depressed and sickly feeling this morning, today turned out to be one of the most memorable days of my life! I will remember this forever!

we watched the Yankee game and talked to my parents...then he left at like 8 
so sad
